They say it happened outside Bel Royal School, just after 07:30
No further details about what’s described as a “road traffic collision” have been released, but the police say they are now “…extremely concerned for the welfare of the person driving the vehicle involved.” It seems he left the scene of the collision, before the emergency services could there.
Police describe him as,”…being in his late twenties/early thirties, approximately 5’4” tall, of medium build, with short black hair and wearing a dark red check shirt & dark trousers.’
