Mark Blamey, Manager Jersey Alzheimer’s Association, said: “We were staggered by the generosity of the Radisson Blu management and their guests. This single sum of £31,000, raised on the night, represents six weeks of our total running costs. That means ongoing security for us in that we can continue to support many local people who are affected by dementia, through the many services we offer.”
The entrance of the hotel was fully decorated for the special event, including a flower wall designed by Bella Fiori for the occasion. Mr Edward Clucas, Director of the Hotel, and host for the evening, welcomed the guests and spoke of the 10 years since the opening of the Hotel when they first became a part of the Jersey, hospitality community.

The evening concluded with live music from jazz, swing, soul and Motown band, Down With The Count.
