Randalls, which owns 44 managed and tenanted pubs across Jersey, has announced the appointment of a new CEO.

Jonathon Swaine will take on the role, based in Jersey, from mid-October.

It comes after Gavin Reid stepped down from his role as Managing Director in May after a three-decade long tenure.

Mr Swaine has more than 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and has held senior leadership positions at Fuller Smith &Turner PLC, Rank Group PLC, and most recently
Shepherd Neame Ltd.

According to Randalls, his immediate focus will be to invest in pubs, people, and systems.

Clive Watson, recently appointed Non-Executive Chairman of Randalls, said: “We are delighted to appoint Jonathan.

“His breadth of experience and the calibre of roles he has held wil be invaluable as we return the business to growth.

“Randalls, owned by the Greenall family, has a wonderful collection of quality pubs with untapped potential.

“Jonathan and his team will ensure we unlock that potential and steer the company towards long-term success.”

Mr Swaine added: “Randalls is well-positioned to deliver sustainable growth.

“I am excited by this opportunity and look forward to working with the team in Jersey to build on the strong foundations of the business.”
