Spooky season is fast approaching – and Jersey Heritage already has grand plans.

Home to hundreds of years worth of haunted history and spooky tales, the iconic Mont Orgueil castle will be the location of this year’s ‘Halloween Experience’ on Friday 31 October.

Those who attend the fright fest are promised an evening of entertainment, with live music, food and other performances.

“There will be creepy characters roaming within the Castle’s historic walls, including the witch, the medieval jester and the ghoulish soldier,” Jersey Heritage community events curator Nicky Lucas teased.

“Ghost stories will be shared in hushed tones and there will be dancing, but with a macabre twist.

“The Jersey Showman will also provide a spectacular fire show for what promises to be a night to remember for anyone who dares to be scared at Mont Orgueil.”

James Gaudin, Managing Partner of Appleby, which is sponsoring the event, said: “At Appleby Jersey, bringing people together is always in season. This Jersey Heritage half term event, which comes a week after our spooktacular client party, sees us celebrating all things autumn with another part of our community.

“We hope lots of families get in the spirit for a frightfully fun time at Mont Orgueil Castle because connection, like Halloween tricks and treats, is better when shared.

“And who knows… I might even dress up for the
occasion!”
