Three of the crew – Reckless Lee, You-Genius and DIssi AKA Hawk –
held a workshop at the dance studio at Fort Regent to get more people dancing.
The youngsters were impressed with the display the stars put on. And the crew said there’s some good potential in the Island. When asked by the kids what they key to being a good break dancer is the crew said “training. Three or four hours a day”.
The workshop had been organised by Scott Mills who’s been running classes for about five years. When asked what he thought his students made of it all he said: “It’s been a once in a lifetime opportunity for them, and by their faces I think they were a bit awestruck. Later they really seemed to be getting into it.”
