How many times have you shouted at the TV when The Chase contestants choose the wrong answer, thinking you could do so much better?

Well, Islanders are now being offered the chance to go head-to-head with ITV’s very own Shaun Wallace – known from the iconic quiz show – as part of a unique charity fundraiser.

Teams will compete in a jam-packed general knowledge quiz for the top spot and the chance to take on ‘The Dark Destroyer’ himself in a head-to-head showdown.

The event is set to take place on Friday 11 September from 6:30pm to 11pm at the Freedom Centre.

Tickets are £75 per person, which includes a meal and a welcome drink. All proceeds go to Enable Jersey, the Island’s only community pan-disability charity.

Entrants must be aged 18 and over. Each team table will seat eight participants.

As well as the quiz, there will also be live music and an auction – with prizes including tickets to watch Premier League winners Arsenal and the Six Nations.

Enable Jersey fundraising and awareness co-ordinator Danielle Self said: “We are thrilled to be launching our Quiz Night with Shaun Wallace.

“The event is set to be a fun night for all involved, with an opportunity for the winning team to beat the Chaser himself.”

Mr Wallace added: “I am intrigued to see what the people of Jersey have to offer. Whether anyone can rise to the challenge, however – that’s up for debate.”
