He has competed in the event 12 times since 2001, and although heβs never won it, he has claimed multiple victories at the Cheltenham festival.
He will be joining riders at this weekendβs Jersey Race Club Ladies’ Day event, competing in all five races on horses trained by Neil Mulholland.

The majority of the jockeys racing this weekend are visitors rather than Jersey residents. Some have become regulars at the Les Landes course, such as Mattie Batchelor, and now the addition of frenchman Davy Delalande, is giving the jersey jockeying community an international aspect.Β

Tomorrow’s Ladies’ Day is the penultimate race day of the season, but will also be the most glamourous; there will be prizes on offer for βbest dressed,’ and βmost outstanding hat.’

The first of the 5 races begins at 14:30, with the gates opening at midday, and the last race is scheduled for 16:50. The finalists in all categories of the ‘best dressed’ competitions will be invited to join the judges in the winners’ enclosure at 17:25, where the prize-giving will take place. Β
