Appearing in court on Friday, Douglas Raymond Ward (31) denied committing a grave and criminal assault, and an assault, at a property in St. Helier on 31 July 2020.
He also pleaded not guilty to violently resisting arrest and maliciously damaging a police radio, and two police shirts, on the same occasion.
The Court set a trial date for 26 April and remanded Mr Ward in custody until 21 January, when he will return for a pre-trial hearing.
Meanwhile, Dominic Ajo (40) pleaded not guilty to one charge of indecent assault at the Hotel de France on 19 February 2011. The court set a trial date of 10 May and released Mr Ajo on bail until 8 February, when a pre-trial hearing will be held.
