They will be hoping to continue their 2015 success which saw them top the medals table with 133 medals.

220 Jersey competitors are going for gold in 14 different sports across seven days at this years games, which is the 17th edition of the sporting event.  

In 2015, Jersey triumphed as hosts of the game and came out on top with 50 golds, 53 silvers and 30 bronze medals. 

Team Jersey will be competing across the next week in a variety of sports including Athletics, Badminton, Archery, Basketball, Cycling, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Shooting, Swimming Table Tennis, Tennis, Triathlon and Volleyball.
