After weeks of hustings, manifestos, social media debates, doorstep conversations and enough election leaflets to fill multiple recycling bins, the decision is now in voters’ hands…
Polling stations across Jersey are now open and will remain open until 8pm tonight as Islanders choose the next States Assembly.
Voters will elect nine Senators, a Constable for their parish and a number of Deputies depending on where they live.
To vote, you’ll need to attend a polling station within your constituency and bring some form of identification. A passport or driving licence is preferred, but other forms of ID can also be used.

What happens after voting closes?
Once polls close at 8pm, counting will begin and results will start to emerge.
Over the coming days, attention will turn to who will become Jersey’s next Chief Minister and who will form the next Council of Ministers.
Not sure how that process works? Check out our ‘What happens after Sunday?’ guide.
