Team Guernsey had another successful day on the track and field with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals won in a variety of events.

Victoria Hancock claimed Gold in the Women’s Long Jump on Tuesday, after braking a 20 year standing Guernsey record to win Bronze in the triple jump on Sunday.

Hancock jumped 5.35m yesterday to retain the Gold medal she had won in the Long Jump at the Guernsey Games in 2023.

Christopher Bain came second in the Men’s 1,500m on Tuesday evening.

His time of 3:56.63 put him a second behind Ted Chamberlain of Jersey and nearly a second ahead of the Isle of Man’s Samuel Perry.

There were medals apiece for Nicolas Ackermann and Darcey Hodgson (pictured top – credit GIGA) in the Men’s and Women’s 400m hurdles.

Ackerman claimed Gold in the Men’s event with a time of 56.96, while Hodgson claimed Bronze in the Women’s in a time of 1:03.27.

Guernsey’s Abi Galpin did not finish her heat in the Women’s 200m.

She had claimed bronze in the Women’s 100m earlier this week.

Emma Etheridge ran in the Women’s 1,500m final for Alderney.

She finished in 8th place out of 14 runners in a time of 5:01.08.
