Le Tissier played the full match, initially from an advanced right wingback role, as coach Sarina Wiegman shuffled things around.

Switzerland host Euro 2025 next summer.

England made 10 changes to the side that had played out a goaless draw with the US days on Saturday.

Le Tissier had sat that game out because of concussion.

She had a chance to score against Switzerland having been left free on the edge of the box after the initial goal, but pushed her effort wide.
“I got lots of information about individuals and where they are at in this moment,” said Wiegman while talking about on the past four friendly matches.

“We played many players. We wanted to tweak a couple of things in our style of play. Of course there is a lot of work to do but I think it was good to see.

“They are the main two things I wanted to see and off the pitch we did lots of things that were really good for the players for their development.”
