The 400m hurdles final at the UK Athletics Championships is scheduled to take place at 15:30.

Chalmers came agonisingly close to the Olympic standard of 48.70s when he ran a new PB of 48:76 in the European Championships earlier this month.
His next attempt at the mark went awry when he clipped the runner in the lane outside of him in Finland, but Chalmers said he is on the “fringe of something next level” after winning at Atletica Geneve five days ago in horrible conditions with a time of 48.98s.
In that race he came home ahead of Ireland’s Thomas Barr (49:51) who is also chasing the qualifying time.
