Maya Le Tissier’s childhood club will host live screenings of England’s UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 group-stage matches throughout July.
Skipton International have worked with St Martin’s Athletic Club to arrange the screenings so fans can cheer on Le Tissier at the club where she first honed her skills.
Guernsey born, England footballer Le Tissier is a former Saints player.
Now 23 and Manchester United’s captain, she made history on 5 June 2025 as the first female Guernsey player to be selected for a senior England squad at a major tournament.
Saints said it will transform its clubhouse into a fan zone for all England group games, against France on 5 July, the Netherlands on 9 July, and against Wales on 13 July.
St Martins’ AC Director of Sponsorship & Fundraising, Matthew Warren, says even during her days playing locally, he could tell he was set for the big stage.
“For those of us who were fortunate enough to watch Maya progress from St Martins to captaining Manchester United and representing England, it’s incredibly inspiring”.
Mr Warren continued: “From her early days at our club, her drive and talent have stood out, and now the whole island can take pride in her achievements. We’re thrilled to bring people together to celebrate her success and cheer on the Lionesses”.

Skipton International’s Senior Commercial Manager, Aaron Walden also highlighted Le Tissier’s inspiring journey from grassroots football in Guernsey to the international stage.
“Maya’s story, from grassroots football in Guernsey to the heart of the Lionesses, is exactly what grassroots investment is about”.
Mr Walden added: “We’re delighted to support St Martins AC in hosting the Euro screenings, bringing the community together to cheer on a genuine local hero.”
