The Guernsey side have been absolutely ruthless so far this season, scoring 35 goals in their past 5 matches.

They’ve been equally stoic in defence, allowing just six goals to slip over the same period.

This weekend saw the GFC ladies take on St Peter.

The Jersey side had pulled the scoreline back to 3 – 2 in the second half, but goals from Elsie Le Lacheur and Calleigh Hedley made it another comfortable win for the women in green.

The Green Lions are not in action again until the new year now (12 January), with their next fixture putting them up against a side with a polarised season compared to Guernsey as the Sports Club of Jersey have yet to pick up a win from their five fixtures of the season.

They’ve shipped 54 goals in their last five fixtures, and only found the net themselves on five occasions.

The last time the sides met, Guernsey FC ladies stormed to victory in an 11 – 1 win, with seven of the side getting themselves on the score sheet, and Calleigh Hedley netting herself a hat trick.
