Guernsey’s Abi Galpin and Amelia Hart got off to a medal-winning start at this year’s Island Games.

Galpin came third in the women’s 100m with Hart third in the women’s 400m on the track on Monday evening.

Their bronze medals add to the tally won in athletics which includes the bronze claimed by Vicky Hancock in the triple jump earlier in the week.
