Jersey is gearing up for a weekend of world-class racing as Olympic heroes and world champions prepare to battle it out at the Waterfront.
The Island is hosting the finale of Supertri’s 2026 season, which will be televised around the world and feature a prize pot of more than $800,000.
In the men’s race, Olympic champion Alex Yee will take on a star-studded field including Olympic silver medallist Hayden Wilde, reigning world champion Matt Hauser and British triathlon legend Jonny Brownlee.

The women’s line-up will see Olympic champion Cassandre Beaugrand go head-to-head with the sport’s most decorated female Olympian and Supertri’s most successful athlete, Georgia Taylor-Brown.
Reigning Supertri champion Jeanne Lehair and former European champion Jolien Vermeylen will also be among those to watch.
And Islanders will have a home athlete to cheer on, with 19-year-old Siena Stephens awarded a wildcard to compete in front of her home crowd.

Fan Zone fun
Marina Gardens will be transformed into a hub of entertainment, stalls and merchandise from Saturday afternoon.
The festivities will begin with a performance by Janvrin School’s choir, which captured the hearts of Supertri athletes last year by surprising them with an original song during a school question-and-answer session.
Islanders will also have the chance to meet some of the star competitors and learn more about them away from the racecourse.
Athletes will take to the stage for a presentation between 4pm and 5pm, building anticipation for Sunday’s racing.
Race for the Kids

Sunday’s action will begin with the return of RBC Race for the Kids Jersey.
Islanders of all ages and abilities are invited to walk, run, scoot or push prams around courses of 2.5km, 5km or 10km.
The event will raise money for Jersey Child Care Trust, with organisers hoping to build on last year’s success, when more than 1,000 people took part and £56,000 was raised.
David Bailey, chief operating officer at RBC Wealth Management, said: “RBC Race for the Kids Jersey is so much more than a race.
“It’s an opportunity for our community to come together around a shared purpose and make a meaningful difference for JCCT.
“The energy and enthusiasm at last year’s race was truly remarkable, and we’re delighted to be partnering with Supertri again for this special day.”
There is still time for Islanders to register online to take part or volunteer as a marshal.
Let the Supertri commence!

Attention will turn to the main event on Sunday afternoon as some of the biggest names in triathlon contest the Supertri Pro Series Final.
With no points carried forward and no season-long leaderboard, everything will come down to a single race. The first man and woman across the finish line will each be crowned Supertri Pro Series champion and receive $100,000.
Supertri’s fast-paced format features three back-to-back stages of swimming, cycling and running without a break. Each stage consists of a 300-metre swim, a four-kilometre bike ride and a 1.6-kilometre run.
Michael D’hulst, co-founder and chief executive of Supertri, said: “The Supertri Pro Series Final is a global, marquee moment for triathlon, and it couldn’t be more exciting.
“There is nowhere better to stage it than Jersey. It has been part of the Supertri story since our very first full event in 2017. This will be our sixth time racing in Jersey, and a genuine partnership with this community.”
Spectators can watch the racing free of charge from around the course.
The Fan Zone will open at 12.30pm on Sunday, with a big screen allowing spectators to follow every moment of the action.
