Bailiwick’s regular Warm Up/Cool Down podcast will be taking a temporary backseat over the coming weeks as attention turns to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Following the release of episodes featuring former England goalkeeper Joe Hart and a tournament preview with Jersey Bulls players, the focus will now shift towards in-tournament coverage.

Listeners can look forward to three World Cup podcasts per week, with a range of local football personalities, coaches and players lined up to discuss the biggest talking points from football’s showpiece event.

The tournament has already delivered plenty of drama. South Korea made an impressive start with an electric victory over a strong Czech Republic side, while Mexico’s clash with South Africa produced an astonishing three red cards. At the current rate, the tournament is humorously on course for more than 300 dismissals before the final.

The first in-tournament episode will be released on Monday, with reaction, analysis and predictions set to feature throughout the competition.

With football’s biggest event now underway, Bailiwick Podcasts’ World Cup coverage is only just getting started…
