The latest episode of the Bailiwick Sports Podcast sees Ironman athlete/PhD student Laurie Corbel grace the studio.
Laurie has recently completed an age-group victory in the 25-29 bracket at Ironman Wales as he continues his progression towards, hopefully, a professional licence and a spot at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.
He joins JEP Sports Editor Elliot Corbel for a fascinating insight into what it takes to compete in such brutal endurance events, how he balances that around his full-time studies and how important your people and environment around you can play such a crucial role.
