With just over a month left to submit tax returns, the Revenue Service is offering islanders a helping hand to avoid a last-minute scramble. So far, 16,358 people have submitted their 2025 tax returns, but many more are still expected before the deadline on Monday 30 November. To help those struggling with the paperwork, the Revenue Service is holding two drop-in sessions this week, offering assistance with both online and paper returns. The first takes place at the Vale Douzaine Room on Wednesday 28 October, from 16:00 to 20:00. A second session will be held at the Castel Douzaine Room on Saturday 31 October, from 08:00 to 14:00. There’s no need to book, and anyone needing help with their online return should bring the phone, tablet or laptop they normally use. Islanders can also hand in completed paper returns and receive a receipt. The Revenue Service is encouraging people to get help sooner rather than later, before the deadline rush begins.
