Users of St Helier’s multi storey car parks may have noticed that Jersey Samaritans have been busy refreshing and updating a total of 32 display signs located on various floors of Patriotic Street, Minden Place and Pier Road.

A further 14 display signs that had been removed due to car park refurbishment works have also been updated and will soon be on display in Sand Street and Green Street car parks.

The signs were originally put up some years ago and were overdue for a bit of TLC.

The messages they convey form an important part of Samaritan’s work to ensure that people know that there is always someone available to listen 24/7.

The local branch would like to express grateful thanks to Parking Control Assistant Manager Kevin Boleat and his staff for their support with this project.
