Leading international law firm, Mourant Ozannes, has signed an agreement to lease two floors of office space and the rotunda in the landmark Royal Chambers development on St Julian's Avenue.

The move underlines the firm's commitment to the Island, following a sustained period of local and international growth. The office, located in the centre of St Peter Port, will house the firm's 147 Guernsey staff, including 14 partners, on a single site with capacity for planned future expansion. The space incorporates a state of the art conference venue and client entertainment suite.

Mourant Ozannes Guernsey Managing Partner, Jessica Roland, said: "Moving to a single-site, contemporary office with much more space to allow us to continue to grow is a natural next step for the firm, but it represents much more than just a change of scenery.  We are very proud of our heritage and the leading reputation we have worked to build over many years in Guernsey. Taking this fantastic, landmark space in the heart of St Peter Port reflects our commitment to the future of the Island, as our business continues to evolve on a global scale."

Mourant Ozannes Chief Operating Officer, Keith Pearse, said: "This is a very exciting time for us at Mourant Ozannes. We have experienced tremendous growth in our international business over the last year, and we continue to invest in business infrastructure across our network of offices. This not only provides us with a modern and efficient working environment, but also supports our collaborative culture and global strategy, further enabling our clients to benefit from a seamless, highly responsive service across time zones. Our move to Royal Chambers is a good example of this and I look forward to the next chapter in our development."

Mourant Ozannes was advised by leading commercial property consultants CBRE.
