Jersey Post delivers for Team Jersey

Jersey Post is to sponsor the Jersey Island Games team at next year's games in the Island and in Gotland in 2017.

"We are delighted to be involved in the Team Jersey once again, especially as it’s on our own soil,” said Tim Brown, Jersey Post Chief Executive. "This is the first year of what we see as a long-term commitment and relationship with the Island Games Association of Jersey, their participants and supporters."

Jersey Post supported the Jersey team during the 2009 NatWest Island Games and offered a range of support to the participants, including sponsoring the team kit.

Steve Jacobs, Chairman of the Island Games Association of Jersey said they were absolutely thrilled to have Jersey Post back on board as Jersey team sponsor.

"Their help and support with the 2009 games was invaluable and we’re really looking forward to working with them again. The two-game commitment is such an asset to the team as it means we can focus our efforts on holding a successful and exciting Games in 2015," he said.

The 2015 NatWest Island Games opening ceremony will take place at Howard Davis Park on 27 June 2015.
