Giving Opportunities, the charity supporting skills and training, has appointed two new non-executive directors.

Helena Leslie and Keiran Poole have joined the board as charity stalwart Wayne Bulpitt retires after serving five years as a director.

Ms Leslie is an HR professional who brings employment, training and recruitment experiences to the charity and will help to enhance the development opportunities offered to islanders in need.

Mr Poole is Operations Director at Alliance and will help to enhance the retail offering from GO’s St Sampson’s shop including commercial and logistics support.

Paul Meader, Chairman of GO, said: “They are already making a real impact on our activities. This is a really exciting time for GO as we expand our training offering supported by the fantastic GO100 fund raising initiative.

“I would also like to thank Wayne for his time and contribution as a director. Without his support and hard work, GO wouldn’t be what it is today and wouldn’t be able to effect the life-changing work that it does, everyday. We will miss him.”
