Butterfield has awarded its 2025 scholarships to three students, including Olivia Morgan from Guernsey who will receive $30,000 (£22.2k) for the upcoming academic year.
The sholarship can be maintained for up to four academic years.
Ms Morgan received the Butterfield Channel Islands Undergraduate Scholarship, which is available to an outstanding student with an interest in financial services, and she will be studying Business and Management with Innovation at the University of Bristol.
Richard Saunders, Butterfield’s Managing Director of the Channel Islands & UK, said: “We are delighted to award this Channel Islands focused scholarship for the first time to Olivia and look forward to following her continued success.”
Mr Saunders continued: “Butterfield continues to invest in education and provide opportunities for our young people with a view to empowering the next generation to achieve their career ambitions.”

Further afield, two more students received scholarships from Butterfield.
Jeriel Fernandes from Bermuda received the Sir Harry D. Butterfield Undergraduate Scholarship to study Mathematics and Economics at the University of Liverpool, while Zoe Bowen from the Cayman Islands received the Butterfield Undergraduate Scholarship to study Business Management at the University of Bristol.
