Mourant has appointed a new director in Guernsey within its Governance Services business.
Scott Sebire has more than 15 years’ experience across the international funds and financial services industry, including leading finance, fund operations, governance and strategic initiatives for complex cross-border structures.
Mr Sebire said: “I’m delighted to be joining Mourant at such an exciting stage in its growth journey. The firm’s reputation for excellence, its international reach and its strong client focus make it a unique platform within the industry.
“I look forward to working with colleagues across the Group and partnering with clients to help deliver innovative governance and fund solutions while supporting Mourant’s continued growth.”
Mr Sebire will lead the fund services business in Guernsey, supporting clients throughout the fund lifecycle and helping to develop the firm’s international funds offering.
Stephanie Webb, Global Head of Fund Services at Mourant Governance Services, said: “Scott brings a wealth of experience across the funds industry. He has a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, overseeing complex international fund structures and supporting clients across key global markets.
“His expertise, extensive industry network and strong operational leadership will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen and expand our funds offering, and we are delighted to welcome him to Mourant.”
The appointment follows the announcement in August 2026 that Mourant had secured a minority equity investment from MML, a specialist provider of partnership capital.
The investment will support the firm’s continued focus on client service, including further investment in technology and its people through enhanced career pathways and the development of next-generation talent.
