The mobile service unveiled by the Channel Islands Coop earlier this year has been shortlisted across three categories within an international industry awards programme.

The service, which was launched in February, is in the running for Best New MVNO (mobile virtual network operator), as well as Best Marketing Campaign and the MVNO Challenger Award at the 2026 MVNO Nation Awards.

The winners, which will be chosen by a panel of analysts, consultants, operators and industry experts, are due to be announced on 4 November at a ceremony in Alicante, Spain.

It comes not long after Coop Mobile won the Sustainability Champion Award at the MVNOs World Awards in Amsterdam.

Channel Islands Coop chief membership and marketing officer David McGrath said: “Being shortlisted for three awards, alongside some of the most innovative mobile brands in Europe, is a real achievement for a service that’s only been live since February.”

He continued: “Islanders told us they wanted mobile that was simpler, fairer and better value, and that’s what we set out to build.

“To be recognised for the service itself, for how we’ve taken it to market and as a challenger brand shows the Coop model is working. Thank you to our members, our customers and the team who have made it happen.”
