Guernsey tax advisory practice LTS Tax has announced the opening of a new office in Jersey.
The firm said the move responds to a growing book of Jersey-resident clients and intermediaries who have increasingly sought the firm’s specialist expertise.
LTS Tax’s base in Jersey will be at at Titan House in Liberation Square.
The Jersey team will focus on a range of specialist areas, including tax advice and compliance for relocators, bespoke support for Jersey fiduciary companies and their clients, and integrated UK and Jersey tax planning.
The new office will be led by managing director Harry Malet de Carteret, who has joined the firm from KPMG in Jersey where he spent the past three years.
The firm said he brings over a decade of experience advising on Jersey and UK tax matters within a Big 4 environment and is both a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and a qualified Tax Technician (ATT).
Mr Malet de Carteret also serves as a committee member of the Jersey branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and acts as the CIOT–ATT liaison.
He said: “I’m excited to lead this expansion and build on LTS’ current reputation and success.
“We’re committed to building strong relationships with Jersey intermediaries and providing the same personal, high-quality service that LTS are known for.”
Paul O’Neill, managing director of LTS Tax in Guernsey, added: “LTS has established a strong reputation in Guernsey, and we are regularly being recommended to clients in Jersey.
“Opening at Liberation Square is the natural next step to support our growing Jersey client base.”
