A Jersey-based entrepreneur has been recognised by a global media brand for the approach she took to building an independent, award-winning and female-led marketing agency.
Fiona Wylie, the founder and chief executive of Brand Champions, has been named one of ADWEEK’s 2026 Agents of Change.
Brand Champions relocated to the island in 2021.
ADWEEK acknowledged Ms Wylie’s approach to creating a flexible “remote-first” marketing agency “with careers designed around parents, caregivers, and professionals returning after a career break”.
Although my name is on this recognition, it belongs to every person at Brand Champions who proves that you can do brilliant work without sacrificing everything else that matters

The business reached its £3 million revenue target for 2026 four months ahead of year-end, with client retention at 87%, while its team has grown from 16 to more than 40 people this year.
Ms Wylie, who was also nominated for a Pride of Jersey award in the Inspirational Leader of the Year category, said: “When I started Brand Champions, I didn’t believe anyone should have to choose between a career they’re proud of and a life they want to live.”
She continued: “So we built an agency around that belief: remote-first, genuinely flexible and designed to create opportunities for parents, carers and people returning after a career break.”
Ms Wylie added that the recognition from ADWEEK “belongs to every person at Brand Champions who proves that you can do brilliant work without sacrificing everything else that matters”.
“It also belongs to the clients who trusted us to work differently and believed in what we were building.”
