A manager from Mourant has achieved top marks in a leading industry qualification.

Josie Ewing from the firm’s Governance Services team was awarded the IFA Level 5 Financial Reporting and Governance Prize after achieving the highest result (86%) in the November 2025 exam session.

The qualification is awarded by the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland, a globally recognised body for governance professionals.

CGIUKI’s IFA qualifications cover offshore finance, regulation and company management.

Optional modules are also available, designed to deepen expertise in financial reporting and governance and fund administration.

Ms Ewing, who joined Mourant in 2022 and has over a decade of offshore finance experience, specialises in the establishment, administration and management of corporate real estate structures.

“I am delighted to have received this prize for my latest IFA exam,” she said.

“CGIUK qualifications are the mark of excellence in our field and undertaking the course has been an excellent opportunity to deepen my knowledge and strengthen my technical expertise in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

“I remain grateful to my colleagues at Mourant, as I wouldn’t have achieved this award without their support.”
