Two senior professionals have joined Mourant to lead its global marketing and business development efforts.

Philip Allen has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer, while Steve Cornick has joined as Global Head of Marketing.

Mr Allen brings over 20 years’ experience in international professional services and previously led global business development at Ogier, where he worked across key markets including Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia.

With more than 25 years in brand development, Mr Cornick previously shaped the brand direction at Elian and Intertrust Group, and founded the consultancy Brand Spark.

The pair will focus on strengthening Mourant’s commercial marketing strategy in line with its global growth plans.

CEO Jonathan Rigby said their leadership would help “build the strength of our brand in key markets” and support the firm’s client-centric approach.

Mr Allen said it was “an exciting time to join the firm”, adding: “…I’m looking forward to working with my new colleagues to support the ongoing growth and success of the business, through the next phase of its evolution.”
