Crestbridge has appointed a new Associate Director and Head of Private Equity Fund Accounting in Jersey.
The firm says Raul Ramos's appointment is part of an initiative to strengthen its multi-jurisdictional funds team and grow its global private equity proposition.
Based in Jersey, Mr Ramos will oversee the accounting function for Crestbridge’s private equity client base.
He joins Crestbridge from a global administrator where he led the accounting service team and various large-scale projects in the Jersey office, as well as acting as director to Jersey companies and unregulated funds. Prior to this Mr Ramos worked for one of the 'Big Four' accounting firms providing assurance and financial accounting advisory services.
Michael Johnson, Head of Institutional Services at Crestbridge, said: “We’re continuing to see growing demand from GPs for agile, high quality support services as they look to navigate the increasingly complex international regulatory and reporting environment. With this in mind, and in line with our strategic growth ambitions in the private equity space, Crestbridge are focused on bolstering our teams.
"I’m delighted to welcome Raul, his significant fund accounting and reporting expertise will add significant value and further improve efficiencies for both our business and our clients alike.”
