A historic spirit re-launched by a Jersey entrepreneur is to be stocked nationally at Waitrose.
Rose petal spirit brand Lanique is a 200-year-old liqueur which was successfully revived by Club Hotel and Spa owner Lawrence Huggler after he purchased the recipe in 2013.
The drink is made by steam-distilling thousands of hand-picked rose petals to extract the Attar of Rose, which is worth more per kilo than gold.
Since its relaunch, Lanique has gone on to be stocked in numerous bars across the island, as well as a number of prestigious spots in the UK, including The Ivy Collection and The Ned.
It also secured headline drinks sponsorship at London Fashion Week earlier this year.
The stocking at Waitrose marks the drink's first national listing.
It will feature across 243 stores nationwide, including the three in Jersey.
