Moore Stephens Jersey has been awarded platinum accreditation as part of the STEP Employer Training Scheme (ETS).

The organisation is one of only four businesses in Jersey to achieve the platinum standard, which recognises high quality professional development and employee training support.

The accreditation certificate was presented at a forum event on Wednesday 15 July where local members of the private wealth sector met to discuss training and development.

The scheme was introduced last year by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) to help businesses deliver the best possible training experience for employees.

It features three levels of accreditation: training, gold and platinum. In order to qualify for the platinum standard organisations must demonstrate a strong learning environment with career and training support for staff at all levels.

Moore Stephens Jersey currently employs over 100 staff and offers structured training both in professional qualifications and management skills.

Nick Solt, training partner of Moore Stephens in Jersey, said that providing a challenging and rewarding work environment for employees is one of the firm’s top priorities.

“At Moore Stephens we understand that our people are the most important part of our business and that investing in career development is essential to provide the best possible service to our clients.

“I am very proud of the progress we have made with our training initiatives in the last few years. This achievement demonstrates our commitment to support and develop our staff and ensure they have the highest standard of professional training.”

Moore Stephens Jersey is an independent member firm of Moore Stephens International Limited, one of the world’s leading accounting and consulting networks with in excess of 650 offices located in over 100 countries around the world.
