NatWest Group is evolving its Commercial, NatWest Markets and RBS International businesses to form a single franchise.
The new franchise, Commercial and Institutional will be run by Andrew McLaughlin, current CEO of RBS International, and Paul Thwaite, current Chief Executive Officer, Commercial Banking at NatWest Group, who will lead the non-ring fenced and ring fenced parts respectively.
Meanwhile, Olly Holbourn, current Director of Strategy and Ventures at NatWest Group, will be taking on the role of CEO for RBS International.
“It has been a privilege to lead RBSI for seven years," Andrew McLaughlin, RBSI CEO, said. "The business, the people and the places have a special place in my heart. The professional and caring approach of colleagues inspired me every day. There is no good time to leave a business you love. But there is a right time. And this is the right time for me to take up a new role with NatWest.”
