Communication and regulatory technology business, Vaiie, has announced a four-member advisory panel to provide strategic advice and input into the digital, financial and regulatory sectors.
Vaiie launched in January 2020, following a rebrand from Jersey Post Digital.
Vaiie supports organisations to integrate technology to operate more efficiently by digitising traditional practises and processes.
Lee Bosio, Managing Director of Vaiie, commented: "We're delighted to have brought together this outstanding group of industry leaders. Ranging from digital, financial, regulatory compliance and cyber- security, they will provide expert advice and input into our strategy."
The advisory panel includes:
- Aaron Chatterley: Aaron is co-founder of Europe’s largest online beauty retailer Feelunique. Having led a partial sale of the business to private equity and stepped aside as CEO, he remains a shareholder and member of the board. He is an active investor in several tech and disruptive businesses and is a non-executive director of Digital Jersey, Jersey Post Group and Gardening Direct.
- Helen Hatton: Helen is widely recognised as the prime architect of the modern Jersey regulatory regime. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Banking Regulation and member of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers. She is an international speaker on regulatory compliance topics and regularly publishes papers on regulatory matters.
Following a separate recruitment process, the Jersey Post Group has also welcomed Helen Hatton as a non-executive director on the Board.
- John Gavey: John is the Chief Operating Officer at the Jersey Financial Services Commission. He has an extensive business background in fund accounting and business operations. In a prior role, John was Chief Operating Officer and sat on the board of Aztec Group, where he focused on high level strategic and operational responsibilities and worked closely with the group executive and heads of business divisions.
- Ricky Magalhaes: Ricky is the Head of Offshore Security at Logicalis Jersey. He is an international cyber-security expert, evangelist, and strategist. He works globally at a board level with customers, vendors and partners to define strategy, roadmap and exit, adding positive value.
Tim Brown, CEO of Jersey Post, said, “the appointment of an advisory group is an important milestone in the growth of Vaiie as it becomes recognised as a leading player, along with its partners, in the RegTech, Communication and Enterprise Portal space. We are delighted to welcome all four to the advisory panel.”
