A man from St. Clement who faces charges of distribution and making of indecent photographs of children is due to appear in Royal Court later this year.
Ryan Shaun Jonathan Salsac (21) appeared in the Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Between 14 March 2011 and 1 February 2017, its alleged that Mr Salsac distributed indecent videos and photographs of children to various recipients, as well as making indecent photographs of children on his laptop.
Assistant Magistrate Peter Harris declined jurisdiction on the case before releasing Mr Salsac on bail. Mr Salsac's passport is being held by the Police as he cannot leave the Island. He is also forbidden from deleting any navigation history from any devices he might use to access the Internet and from being with a child under 16 unless their legal guardian is present.
