The case against a 51-year-old man who is accused of murdering a 73-year-old pensioner in Vauxhall Street in October 2016 has been adjourned for two weeks.
At an earlier hearing, Michael Charles Brown pleaded guilty to an alternative charge of manslaughter.
He is accused of killing John Stephen McCarthy on 21 October 2016.
The Attorney General, Robert MacRae asked for a two week adjournment as he is waiting for a report on the case.
Mr Brown, who is being defended by Advocate Charles Sorensen, has been remanded in custody.
