The annual Guernsey Arts Open looks to celebrate local artists, and give a chance for the Bailiwicks Creatives to publicly display their works.

The George Crossan Gallery in the Market Building has been lined with locally created paintings, drawings, sculptures and more, with mediums from across a range of disciplines.

There’s a private viewing taking place this evening, and then doors open to the public from tomorrow. (29 November – 31 December).

Submissions for the competition were invited back in September, with an call to anyone looking to get involved in what Guernsey Arts calls the “largest annual showcase of local artistic talent”.
