The Big Summer Lottery is back with prizes including £100,000 cash and two brand new cars.
In support of the charity Hope for a Child, the tickets cost £50 each and go on sale today.
The charity, which runs the Hope Store on the High Street, supports projects for children in Malawi as well as children’s causes in Guernsey.
“What makes this event so beautiful is seeing thousands of islanders making the powerful choice to positively impact the lives of children while having some fun and getting the chance to win something really lifechanging,” said Tom from Hope for a Child.
Since its inception nine years ago, the Big Summer Lottery has raised essential funds to support Hope for a Child’s work he added.
That includes helping thousands of households to become more self-sufficient and provide the basic things that children need to thrive, like nutritious food, safe water, and education.
Funds raised this year will also benefit children’s charities in Guernsey said the charity.
In previous years the lottery has provided funding to Autism Guernsey, Action for Children, Guernsey Arts Commission, the Trauma Recovery Centre and others.
Tickets can be bought at The Hope Store (St Peter Port), Creaseys (The Bridge), Aladdin’s Cave and various pop-up stall locations or online HERE.
The draw is on Friday 1 August at 19:00.
