A new horror film, due to be shot in Guernsey, is looking for local actors.
‘The Errors of the Dead’ will be filmed on the island, telling a chilling story set inside the shadow-drenched walls of Blackthorn Manor, where “forgotten memories, haunted reflections, and deadly secrets” blur the line between the living and the dead.
Director Billy Le Page grew up in Guernsey and said he was keen to find the “perfect” cast to bring the manor’s inhabitants to life.
The 16-year-old filmmaker is already an award-winning creator on the island, known for his tense thriller ‘Dead Air: Part 1’ and the stage production ‘The Child’s Fear One Act Play’.
The movie is casting two female leads, along with several large supporting roles for male actors.
Production company Façade Films & Shows is also looking for a four-person police squad, alongside an ensemble of spirits, where physical theatre or movement experience is highly useful.
The production is currently accepting submissions via self tapes from local performers.
