A new mobile business could be launched, selling food near the pétanque courts by North Beach car park.
Planning permission for a food trailer and tables has been requested, with the process currently out to consultation with the island’s Environmental Health team.
The application is for permission to put the trailer and tables at the Pedestrian Access area, on the north side of North Beach in St Peter Port.
The application by Mr D.McDonald, was lodged in March and he’ll be expecting an answer soon, with a view to the business potentially opening this summer.
As well as being a busy through-way for pedestrians and cyclists, and local and visiting boat owners, the area is well used by groups using the pétanque courts.
As well as social games, a number of business leagues use the courts on a regular basis during the day time and early evenings.
