A police investigation is continuing after a motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a road accident.
The collision between a motorbike and a van happened at the junction of Rue Sauvage and Grand Douit Lane in St Sampson’s on Tuesday afternoon.
The motorcyclist was initially said to be “taken to A&E as a precaution” with reports later suggesting she has suffered a broken leg.
A police spokesman has since confirmed that an “investigation is continuing”.
No one has been arrested in connection with the accident so far, and a number of witnesses have proactively come forward to help with the police enquiries.
