Guernsey Police have confirmed that a serving police officer has been arrested on suspicion of committing an historic sexual offence.
A spokesperson for Guernsey Police said: “On Tuesday 26 August 2025 a serving police officer was arrested on suspicion of a historic sexual offence. He was immediately suspended from duty. An investigation is now ongoing.”
No other details are known at present.
