A new film being shot in Guernsey is set to feature actors from TV shows and movies like ‘The Muppet Christmas Carol’ and Ricky Gervais show ‘After Life’.
Comedy ‘Romance is Dead’ follows a family mourning the loss of their beloved Grandfather.
Comedian and actor Jessica Fostekew, from ‘Live at the Apollo’ and on the BBC sitcom ‘Cuckoo’ features alongside Yvonne Edgell, from ‘After Life’.
Other cast members have appeared in shows from ‘Eastenders’ to ‘The Crown’.
The producers said ‘Romance is Dead’ is a funny, warm and honest look at how family members sticks together when someone passes away.
The cast also includes David Shaw-Parker, Maddie Stoneman, Dan Le Friec, Eve Campbell and GADOC regular Danny Barker.
It is produced by Freaky Geese Productions and Spike Productions and is due to be released next year.
