The Guernsey Institute, in partnership with the States of Alderney, has launched an Adult Learning Needs Survey in an attempt to understand the community’s learning interests and requirements.
The survey is open until Friday 15 August 2025.
Alderney Residents can collect and return paper copies at the General Office, Island Hall, or download a printer-friendly version from the States of Alderney website available online HERE.
The States of Alderney says the survey will help shape policy: “We’re running an Adult Learning Needs Survey to better understand what learning opportunities our community wants and needs.”
They continued: “Your input will help shape the future of adult learning on Alderney. Thank you for taking part!”
This Adult Learning Needs Survey aims to understand an individual’s background, their current skill levels and desired improvements in English, Maths, and Digital skills, and their learning preferences.
They want to know more about the preferred learning methods and ideal times of day for learning, and their motivation for continuing their education.
