1. Body found

The body of a 64-year-old man was found at Grandes Rocques, the day after he was reported missing.

A member of the public found Steven Le Breton’s body on Tuesday morning, police confirmed.

2. Was patients’ data accessed?

A medical student was charged with illegally accessing more than 40 people’s personal data.

35-year-old Rebecca Elliot is alleged to have accessed the data over a six-year period up to October last year.

3. Paedophile jailed

A 23-year-old man was jailed for four years for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl while he was in a position of trust, as well as downloading indecent images of children.

The girl’s family issued a powerful statement, reminding victims of sex crimes that they were “not alone” and would be believed and supported if they reported them.

4. Free speech or hate speech?

Controversial ex-Apprentice candidate Katie Hopkins continues to divide opinion, ahead of her planned appearance at Beau Sejour.

The right-wing commentator has been stirring up a debate about the limits of free speech on social media and even in the States.

5. Sark doctor challenges Lucy Letby conviction

A doctor from Sark has cast doubts on the convictions of Lucy Letby.

Dr Roger Norwich in one of a number of experts who believes the former neo-natal nurse may have been wrongly convicted.

A story with a silver lining…

People who rediscovered reading for pleasure later in life have been sharing their stories with Express as part of the National Year of Reading.

Among them was Sharon Hurel, who started reading again after she was stranded in Southampton Airport when regional airline Blue Islands collapsed.
