Almost £90,000 will be confiscated from a convicted cocaine dealer currently serving a six-year jail sentence.

Steven Caldeira Pacheco (31) was sentenced in January after being arrested as part of a States of Jersey Police anti-drugs operation codenamed Operation Dingo.

Police had been keeping Pacheco’s flat in St Clement under surveillance and saw five different visitors arrive within one afternoon in August 2024.

They stopped each visitor as they left and found them with drugs they had bought from Pacheco, who was later arrested.

Pacheco appeared in the Royal Court on Friday, and was deemed to have benefited by more than £110,000 from his crimes.

A confiscation order was made in the sum of £89,047 and €40.
