Islanders are being invited to step out under the stars this summer as the annual Moonlight Walk returns next month.
The fundraiser, hosted by Jersey Hospice Care, gives islanders the chance to remember and celebrate loved ones who have passed.
The event is due to take place on Saturday 13 June in St Aubin, with walkers able to choose between two routes, a 5km “Half Moon Walk” or a 10km “Full Moon Walk”.
Registration opens at 8.30pm with both walks setting off at 9pm from St Brelade Parish Hall.
Those opting for the longer 10km route will head along the seafront towards La Fregate, where a water stop will be provided, before returning to the parish hall.
The Full Moon Walk is expected to take around two-and-a-half hours.
Meanwhile, the shorter 5km route will follow the seafront to a turning point near Coronation Park before looping back, taking approximately 90 minutes to complete.
Volunteer marshals will be stationed along both routes to guide and support participants, who will be welcomed back at the finish line with tea and cake.
Parking will be available at St Brelade’s College for the duration of the event.

The Moonlight Walk is one of hospice’s flagship community fundraisers.
Registration is £10 for adults, £5 for children under 16 or £25 for families (two adults, two children) and can be completed online.
