Families welcomed for ‘Noisy Time’

Families are being invited to experience Danny Booth’s new Full Bloom exhibition in a more relaxed environment.

During the dedicated ‘Noisy Time’ session on Tuesday 25 August, children are free to chat, move around and ask questions while exploring the artworks.

Aimed at families with young children and anyone who prefers a more relaxed gallery experience, the session runs from 10.30am until 12pm.

Admission is free, although capacity is limited. Attendees are encouraged to book their space via Eventbrite.

Full Bloom winds down after hours

Jersey ArtHouse will mark the closing week of Full Bloom with an evening event on Thursday 27 August.

‘After Hours’ will give Islanders the chance to drop into the gallery after work, with a DJ set and refreshments available to purchase.

Visitors can arrive from 6pm, with last entry at 7.45pm. Tickets can be booked online.

Comedy Club

The Jersey Opera House’s Comedy Club returns for its third show this weekend.

Matt Stellingwerf, Fathiya Saleh and Joe Sutherland will take to the stage for the latest instalment of the comedy series.

Quizzes and music bingo fundraiser

Prince’s Bar is hosting a charity fundraising night this evening in aid of CLIC Sargent Jersey, which supports young people and families affected by cancer.

The evening will feature three rounds of speed quizzes as well as music bingo, with prizes up for grabs.
